It is with deep sadness that we have to report the death of our good friend and past Chairman Jim Jameson. Jim died on Friday 14/11 in Burn Brae care home, Corbridge, where he had been a resident since his dementia had made living at home so difficult. Information of funeral arrangements will be added when received.
I have received the following enquiry,
can you help?
I would like my MGB Roadster rustproofed/waxoiled and have been told that there is a very good family run firm in Morpeth. I cannot find contact details" If you have any details could you please pass them to email@example.com
Club survey below please read
As you may already know, as a club we organise a number of runs each year. These runs are open to all members (and guests) and take place at pre-arranged dates throughout the spring summer and autumn.
We are always trying to expand/improve on what we do and we would greatly appreciate your views/opinions so that we can plan next year’s runs to suit the membership needs more closely and hopefully attract more members to the regular runs.
To help us with this we would like ask all members to complete a short survey. It is really simple to complete and should take up no more than 15 minutes of your precious time. Most answers require you to simply click on one or more options. but here is provision for more detailed comments, which would be really helpful for us.
You just need to click on the following link which will take you straight to the survey or go to the club websit
The survey is totally anonymous and a summary of the responses will be fed back to all members at a future meeting and/or on the website.
If you are not interested or not able to take part in runs at all, could you please still take the time to respond and at least answer the first and last questions.
The questionnaire will remain open until 25th November. If you have any problems you can contact Peter Hyde
Thanks in anticipation for your interest and help
New website from Lancaster Insurance includes an MG quiz
Welcome to new members Kevin Garside & Wendy Monaghan with their MGF trophy
I'm wondering if you may be able to help? In the 1950's my father owned an MG TF registration number ECN 23 (I have lots of great photos!). It broke his heart to sell it & he always talks about it. I was sure I passed the car last summer in Northumberland & I've just done a google search on the registration number & some photos popped up showing it at the Corbridge Classic Car Show in 2011! I now know the car still exists!
I wondered if you know of this car & if so, could I ask you to pass on my details to the current owner in the hope he could get in touch? I'd love to ask him to pull up at my Dad's house as a surprise (High Heaton, Newcastle), he'd pass out! see photo below,
My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org & phone number is 07836 323 969.

Congratulations to John Mitchell for winning 1st prize in condition class at Pateley Bridge this year, also well done to all the club members for winning the best club stand, well done to all that were involved.
Many thanks to all the exhibitors, traders and visitors who despite
competition from tennis, cycling and the grand prix, not to mention the weather
forecast, made it such a good day. Once we have sorted the bills we will
announce how much has been made for charity and then decide who will benefit
this year. And of course there would be no show if it wasnt for club members and their
friends and families who helped before and on the day.
